Because I offer such a wide range of services, pricing can vary depending on the type of project. I always work hard to keep things fair and transparent by providing upfront, honest pricing. Many smaller jobs have set prices, and for larger projects, I use trusted methods to give accurate estimates. I charge by the job — not by the hour — so you’ll always know what to expect before I start.

Most projects can be estimated virtually with a few photos and some basic info. For more unique or detailed work, I may need to stop by in person to take a closer look. Either way, you’ll always get a clear price and a chance to approve it before any work begins.

On average, most Eastside Handyworks jobs cost between $250 and $400. However, individual jobs can range from as low as $125 (the minimum service charge) all the way up to $2,000 or more. Multiple small projects can be completed to meet the minimum service charge.

How does your estimate and scheduling process work?

Step 1: Request an Estimate
To get started, I’ll ask for a few details about your project — a short description, a few photos, and your home’s location. This helps me put together the most accurate estimate possible. The more information you share, the better I can understand your goals and plan the best approach for your project.

Step 2: Estimate & Schedule
Once I’ve reviewed your information, I’ll see if your project is a good fit for my services. In most cases, I can provide a virtual estimate and send it by email or text. If the job needs an in-person look, I’ll reach out to schedule a quick visit at a time that works for you.

Step 3: Complete the Work
After you approve the estimate, I’ll confirm your scheduled date and arrive on time, ready to get the job done right. When the work is complete, you can pay in whichever way is easiest for you — card, check, Venmo, or cash.

Step 4: Enjoy the Results
Once your project is finished, you can sit back and enjoy your refreshed space. And if anything comes up afterward, your project is covered by a one-year workmanship warranty — so you can have total peace of mind.

Hey there! I'm Sean Salzer. After years of working as a mechanical engineer and renovating multiple properties in my free time, I saw an opportunity to create a handyman service that prioritized quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
